Why I Prefer to Pay Upfront for Services and Why I Had to Change

Dear BIVILLEPM Community,

I actually like to pay upfront for services, and I know many people who also prefer to pay upfront for services because it’s convenient and we don’t like debt. The reason I needed to change is because of vendors who do not deliver as promised.

In this part of the world, upfront payment is a recipe for heartbreak. When some people collect upfront full payments, 70% of the time, they are not serious with customers, and you cannot easily ask for a refund. I resolved a long time ago to always do part payments and full payments upon delivery.

I also don’t want to lose our friendship and want to give you money I can afford to part with, as I need you to be serious and motivated with our agreements, no matter how small the payment is, that the final payment is coming once I’m satisfied.
