When people address me as Engineer George and I engage in engineering and project management tasks, I feel a sense of authenticity and pride — I am genuinely excited.
- I am committed to maintaining this excitement while delivering comprehensive EPC solutions. I prefer not to align myself with certain PMI community members who solely aim to earn the “PMP” title without practically applying the knowledge and processes.
- Let me share what a Contract Project Manager interview assessment entails, beyond the foundational concepts covered in the PMBOK Guide. With over 12 years of experience as a PMP, this journey has been long and rewarding.
Below is my score from the first stage of a recent interview process — there are three stages in total, so it’s not time for congratulations just yet.

I’m grateful to the Hiring Manager(Director) for sharing with me the questions and my scores which I subsequently summarized and this is forming my basis for developing of “Oil and Energy Greenfield Onshore EPC Plant Contract Project Manager Balanced Scorecard” (Just like the COO Balanced Scorecard I did) even if I’m not eventually engaged. It further helped me to know the areas I needed to improve.
