Today, I’d like to highlight the crucial role that OPITO BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) with EBS (Emergency Breathing System) plays in ensuring the well-being of personnel and safeguarding assets, especially within the offshore environment.
Though my offshore experience is yet to begin, I proudly hold the OPITO BOSIET with EBS certification — a prerequisite for the Offshore Safety Permit (OSP) required to work in Nigeria’s offshore sector. This journey took an unexpected turn, becoming my first experience swimming.
