PMBOK 8th Edition Expected in 2025: Key Updates

The release date for the PMBOK 8th edition is yet to be confirmed, but it’s likely to arrive in early 2025, as PMI updates the guide every 4 to 7 years (Source: ProjectManagement.com).
It’s essential to stay updated, as current PMP materials may become outdated. I personally develop my training materials based on the latest PMBOK Guide and PMP exam content outline. The only external resources I use are question banks from Rita Mulcahy and Oliver Lehmann.
Despite training not being my core focus, I’ve maintained a 100% PMP pass rate, while our primary business remains delivering value to Nigeria’s Oil and Gas sector.
We’ll see what new insights the PMBOK 8th edition brings.
