Navigating ISO 9001:2015 Certification and Registry Challenges

By George NWOGU | BIZVILLE PROJECT MANAGEMENT Limited

Dear BIVILLEPM Community,

To be audited for ISO 9001:2015, it is essential to have well-established systems and processes in place. I credit AACE’s Total Cost Management framework for its introduction of the Deming Plan, Do, Check, and Act (PDCA) cycle we are using for our Standard Operating Procedures. As an executive management specialist, I am committed to developing an ISO-certified system before handing it over to the team for scaling.

Currently, while our documentation is nearing completion, I am encountering a challenge: Unlike registries from organizations such as PMI, OGTAN, or COREN, which maintain singular authoritative lists, the situation with ISO 9001:2015 appears to involve multiple registries. This has made it difficult to locate a comprehensive registry of certified companies.

I am seeking clarification on where other organizations are obtaining their ISO 9001:2015 certifications, given that the registry provided by one of my quality managers (iafcertsearch.org) seems to be lacking as I can only see Dangote Sugar here. Where are 90% companies claiming to be ISO Certified in Nigeria and which registry do they belong?
