Navigating Executive Management: Policies, Plans, and Templates

Dear BIVILLEPM Community,
As an executive management specialist, I have developed policies, eight departmental plans, and approximately 60 SOPs for BIZVILLE PROJECT MANAGEMENT Limited. Also, in my role as COO, I have created 21 templates for every deliverable I’m responsible for.
When I began developing RACI matrices, I realized that these 21 templates are not solely my responsibility; instead, I am accountable for them. Thus, my approach is to delegate to my subordinates or take ownership, similar to my former boss, depending on my team’s strengths.
I was developing RACI for COO documents and it ultimately lead me to conclude that, it’s boring to be at the executive level (unlike being an Engineer or a Manager) where all the documents are created by others while you only hold accountability. 😅

That might also explain while some boss, like my former Italian boss wants to meddle in Planning affairs. It’s tough to leave a high performing individual in a position where he will be bored. 🥱 #Not Meant to be rude. Lol
This process has provided me with extensive experience in documentation, which was not typically available to me in previous organizations, except in a few cases. I now need to align these documents with the ISO checklist to achieve our ISO 9001:2015 QMS certification.
