How a 10-Day Mini-MBA Prep Opened New Doors

Dear BIVILLEPM Community,
After I was let go by a company, I began preparing for a 10-day Mini-MBA course. I researched how to present the Excel spreadsheet to the bankers and the MDs of OGTAN to support the course.
I wasn’t aiming to be a planner or a cost controller anymore; my goal was to provide a detailed snapshot of my financial plans in PDF form without sharing my native files. It had to be well-detailed and self-explanatory, with all legends and cell notations included so that my bank account officer and the fellow Directors of OGTAN wouldn’t need further explanations.
I didn’t realize that I was improving myself for the next job. I thought, “Who would want to hire me when my name and phone number are on my website and NIPEX portal everywhere?” Nigerians naturally don’t like to employ someone with visible interest in their company, so I felt it was over.

I had given up and was working hard for the 10-day mini-MBA to kickstart. However, God had a different plan for me. I was employed at ARDREND LIMITED, where I used the same method I had developed during my downtime for the bankers. It turned out to be what I’m now using with my executives in my current role.
