Countdown to My 40s: Embracing the Journey

I didn’t delve into Performance Management (KPI dashboards and balanced scorecards) today. In my twenties, I had the opportunity to train a delegate from the Nigerian Ports Authority and secured my first corporate client with Huawei-Airtel.

For five years, I struggled with engineering due to limited opportunities while aiming to become a management consultant. It was an EPC company that ultimately offered me engineering opportunities as a Senior Planning Engineer while I was also an Oracle Primavera trainer.

As I approach my 40th birthday in just 62 days, on October 22, I reflect on the journey and milestones I’ve achieved. It’s a significant moment for me, underscoring that knowledge is like an ocean — it never ends. While you may aspire to learn 20% of what I know, the journey is long and ongoing.
